Quality, tradition and innovation. Nobis is one of Scandinavia’s leading groups in the hospitality industry. The corporation employs more than 450 people and turns over about SEK 700 million. The operation includes first-class hotels, restaurants and nightclubs, conference and event venues and catering. Nobis history starts in the 1600s when the first restaurant operation was run at Stallmästaregården – today, a lovely old inn. The current organisation started to take shape in 1987 when Alessandro Catenacci bought the company. Today, Nobis is an expansive corporation that has more than doubled its sales within the past six years. The group has extensive hotel and restaurant knowledge and experience. Consequently, this enables diversification into new operation areas, while retaining the top standard that customers and the industry have come to expect from Nobis. The Nobis group holds a strong financial position, which facilitates expansion. Currently, it is involved in many international projects and acquired the Lexus car dealer Kaiser Bil in 2007. Nobis also owns 50% of the Italian fashion company Alberto Biani SPA.
